After a monstrous fry-up, we thanked Brian's cousins and set sail
from Edenderry with our heads throbbing. The first port of call
on Day 3 was Laois and the small village of Ballylynan. An intriguing
spot littered with a couple of bars on either side of its sole street.
The sun was splitting the stones as we walked into Fleming's, possibly
the smallest bar we'd visited. Friendly folk were to be found along
with a recap on how to stuff a horse – call him Beef or Salmon!
After
a quick drink, there was a status update from Boris on the long
journey that awaited us - we had to hit 10 counties in one day! |
