The light was beginning to fade on Day 2 as we crossed into Wicklow,
the garden of Ireland. A truly beautiful county, but we couldn't
stop long to admire the scenery - there was a mission to complete!
West
Wicklow House can be found in the sleepy village of Blessington
and we crashed in - slightly the worse for wear after five counties
of solid drinking. This pub was a quiet contrast to the mania of
Dublin and gave us a chance to assess our progress so far. After
a photo taken by a beardy guy, we jumped back into the car, turned
up the Johnny Cash CD and drove into the sunset. |
