County No. 10 WICKLOW
Town Blessington
Pub West Wicklow House

The light was beginning to fade on Day 2 as we crossed into Wicklow, the garden of Ireland. A truly beautiful county, but we couldn't stop long to admire the scenery - there was a mission to complete!

West Wicklow House can be found in the sleepy village of Blessington and we crashed in - slightly the worse for wear after five counties of solid drinking. This pub was a quiet contrast to the mania of Dublin and gave us a chance to assess our progress so far. After a photo taken by a beardy guy, we jumped back into the car, turned up the Johnny Cash CD and drove into the sunset.

Would we go back?
Nice accents, but we didn't like being turned away from the comfortable seats just because we weren't eating
Best Moment
Watching the local bard pack up his acoustic guitar and leave in a disgruntled mood because no-one wanted to join in his ballad warbling
